For 25 years, my motto has been "I go where my clients need me." Using Mercer Island as home base for 20 of those years, I have closed transactions not only on the Island but also from Seattle to North Bend, Everett to Puyallup, Woodinville to Des Moines, Edmonds to Maple Valley... even one in Quilcene on Hood Canal on the Olympic Peninsula. Now my home base is in Edmonds.

This is because I work almost exclusively by referrals and repeat business. My clients have called on me to help them purchase and/or sell new homes, resales, condos, townhomes, multi-family residences, fixer-uppers, remodels, teardowns, and vacant land, usually for their primary residence but often for retirement or investment properties.

The broad scope of my business is a direct result of my approach to real estate sales. First, I simply listen, identify the problem, clarify the goals, and explore the pros and cons of the alternatives. Then, I help you sort out the trade-offs, formulate a solution, avoid legal and economic mistakes, and achieve your objectives. You choose, you decide. When you succeed, I do, too.

My many clients have praised me for my "productivity, honesty, integrity, steadfastness, determination, thoroughness, knowledge, aggressiveness, sound advice, negotiating skills, and professionalism."

When the transaction is over, we continue to keep in touch. When you need information or service, you may call me any time. If I can help you, I will, but if you need a specialist, I'll give you referrals from the massive data base of vendors and professionals I have assembled during all my years in this business. You may need an appraiser, contractor, architect, surveyor, landscaper, or pest control specialist, for example, or a professional in accounting, taxes, finance, estate planning, or real estate law. Each year, I give dozens and dozens of such referrals to my clients. In return, I simply ask that you give me referrals to friends and relatives who are thinking of buying or selling real estate, now or in the near future.

I came to Seattle in 1960 from Texas, served in Vietnam in the Navy, and moved to Mercer Island in 1973. I am a graduate of the University of Washington and Seattle University. I enjoy community service and served on the Mercer Island Planning Commission for 10 years until 2003. I am a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Mercer Island.
